On the conscious level she had everything the goal needs. A planner, highly organised. An achiever with high standards.
Below the line it was a different story. A low self-worth part she kept hidden. A high need to be needed, there to escape it. And a martyr sub-personality built to show everyone how hard she was working.
The martyr got its validation through suffering. A business that ran without her would have ended the suffering. So it was never going to be allowed.
Her subconscious had already decided. The planner and the achiever were working for a part of her that wanted the opposite result. The subconscious always wins.
